Freshman Year Art

This was the 3D grunt assignment where we had to create a character and make his or her stature believable and give it a functional silhouette that matched the back story. I learned a lot about human anatomy from both this rhinotaur I made for the grunt and the realistic anatomical ecorche' model beneath. Both assignments were somewhat tricky, but attention to the fine details was a great lesson to learn.

This was the 3D environment assignment to make a 1:12 scale thorne room of your choice. Again attention to detail in the sense of scale and textures was essential to make the space convincing, however, I learned more about time management than anything from this work.

This was an assignment for 2D design, making abstract shapes into a sensible image. Lots of work with values and composition building.
